Announcements

The Los Angeles County Juvenile Court has moved the preparation of the records in juvenile proceedings to one centralized facility. In addition to that transition, the following changes will be effective immediately. All briefs, appellate motions, and other appellate documents filed using the TrueFiling service may now be served on that juvenile court through TrueFiling at the service address of JuvJoAppeals@lacourt.org. It is no longer necessary for counsel to serve a paper copy on Los Angeles County Juvenile Court.

Record correction letters pursuant to California Rules of Court, rule 8.410 (a), may now be emailed to that juvenile court through the email address juvenileappeals@lacourt.org; this address must not be used for anything but the rule 8.410 (a) letters and may not be used for TrueFiling.

In a collaborative effort, the appellate projects (CCAP, FDAP, ADI, SDAP & CAP-LA) will now be sharing information related to MCLE opportunities, trainings and training resources, case summaries and other items to make it easier for all panel members to access the information. Follow these links, hosted by CCAP, for:
